Yesterday we had district meeting and pizza with the elders. Then we went to a rest home and visited again with Roop (with a long u sound.) He is a ward member we met with the elders, but this time we went by ourselves just to play with him. We played a game called Toss Up using colored dice without numbers. He loved it, and we felt good to help him have a happy day.
The Walkers left us some Christmas decorations so we set up our Christmas tree today. Since we didn't have a star to put on top, we put a picture of the nativity. We have a fantastic youtube link with Josh Groben's Christmas music playing in the background as we work. It seems crazy to look outside and see palm trees!
The Walkers are coming this afternoon to drive us down to SavuSavu to pick up our brand new truck so we can give the one we have been using back to the elders. Dad washed and cleaned it this morning so it looks like brand new, too!
