Saturday, November 28, 2015, the Seaqaqa Elders had a baptism for Annie Hamilton Sevanalewa. She is such a sweetheart.
After baptisms, the missionaries always have refreshments. Because of the trip to Taveuni, they were all out of money, and we had no idea they didn't bring any refreshments. The missionaries looked horrified after the meeting when I announced there were refreshments in the kitchen.
For some reason the day before during our Thanksgiving/Birthday dinner, we had forgotten to get out our big container of cut up pineapple. We still had all of it, plus Rex cut up our last pineapple to go with it to supplement the baptism refreshments. We also took a big bag of store bought cookies just in case.
The elders almost cried and took us aside to express great gratitude when when we brought out the huge bowl of the sweetest  pineapple ever and the cookies. Annie's father loved it and seemed very proud, happy, and grateful. They all kept eating until everything was gone!
I love how the Lord extends his hand to make everything work as it should. It was another glorious baptism day in Labasa, Fiji!
