Saturday morning we went to the
little outdoor church in Naduna to straighten out their big cupboard of books
and magazines. They had forgotten the key once to unlock it so they took off
the lock, and it wasn’t securely closed. We found that besides books, it had
been home to wasps and birds. It was a big job. It looks beautiful now. Rex
sacrificed one of his bungee cords to keep it fastened.
We had another wonderful baptism by
the Hindi Elders on Saturday, Aug. 29 – Swastica Nalisha Reddy. Besides making the
program and treats, we had to give talks. Rex gave the talk on baptism, and I
gave the talk on The Holy Ghost, my favorite topic. He is one of my very best
friends, and I love to have Him with me.
Afterwards, we went to Seaqaqa where Rex gave the Sunday School lesson. President Petero has finally returned. He asked us all there to bear our testimonies. The Spirit was strong! From now on, we are only required to visit Seaqaqa once a month. We will try to go to Labasa or Naduna Sacrament meeting first.
