Our young missionaries are on fire! We had baptisms every Saturday in July.  They have kept us busy by asking us to help make treats and prepare and print the programs.
On July 25, our Seaqaqa Elders baptized Valisi Nakete from Naduna. She had the most family support I have seen here in Fiji! Her family must really love her! There were at least 30 family members. Not all of them stood in the picture.
For some reason the mother had taken out her braids and brushed her hair for the baptism. As we were going out to the font, I asked the sisters if they had a pony tail holder. Sister Fiu volunteered one. I asked the mom to pull her daughter's hair back so it would all go under. She sweetly and quickly made a braid and turned it under in back. Valisi looked beautiful, and the baptism went flawlessly.
Afterwards, they had brought pizza and every treat imaginable. Usually we just had a drink and cookies or a special treat the missionaries had prepared. The family must have cooked all day Friday or gotten up really early Saturday. I told Rex they didn't need them, but he added our homemade chocolate chip cookies to the mix. They were all gone, and the family seemed to appreciate our bringing them.

What a beautiful family!
